The B-BOX circularity

B-BOX serves as a platform for managing organic waste through an insect farming process, where waste is transformed into fertilizer that supports the local agriculture industry. This fertilizer helps produce food for consumers — completing a sustainable cycle in which each batch of waste is naturally returned to the system.

B-BOX combines modern urban design, advanced technology, and biotechnology in one compact system. It’s equipped with a custom-built grinder that shreds organic waste into fine pellets, optimizing the rearing process. Integrated location-based IoT sensors monitor key parameters such as indoor air quality (IAQ), temperature, humidity, and vibration, while a multi-speed roller ensures smooth and efficient operation.

Dispose . Feed . Extract . Quantify

B-BOX is an innovative, easy-to-use device that allows users to gradually dispose of up to 40 kg of organic waste per day, which is naturally digested by Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae. As the larvae feed, they produce frass — a nutrient-rich organic fertilizer ready for collection. During this process, B-BOX automatically measures the total waste processed and calculates the corresponding greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction. Users can view their real-time impact and performance through our intuitive dashboard, B-BOX DASH.
